On Sunday, April 15th, I went to church at New Hope Church, which is about 5 minutes from school out towards the Dominos on Blachelyville Road. As is the case for most of these beautiful “spring days” we seem to be having, it was cold and rainy that day, so I needed to dress a little warmer and wear a coat to get away from the rain; however, being a Sunday where I had very little going on, I wanted to try and stay comfortable as well. To counter the nasty weather that seems to be plaguing Wooster, I wore the typical jeans and boots that ward off the rain and do not get as wet as a pair of tennis shoes or sweatpants, while providing as much comfort as possible from attire that is not a pair of sweats. As for my top, I went with a very generic grey, Adidas cotton t-shirt that is extremely comfortable and surprisingly warm for its light-weight feel. To help avoid the rain, I went with my black, Columbia rain jacket, which is slick and water repellant, and adds an extra layer of warmth to ward off the rain. Overall, the outfit helped me stay warm and keep out of the rain, while being presentable enough for church and comfortable enough to keep me out of sweats for awhile.
