On Sunday, April 8th, I attended the College of Wooster versus Kenyon softball game, which led to me wearing real clothes instead of sweats. Unfortunately, it was not a warm day at all, as it was 42° and the windchill made it feel like 30°, so layers were required. To start, I wore a black, long-sleeve, Under Armour shirt underneath my long-sleeve, Gatewood soccer t-shirt. Both of these shirts provided me the warmth needed to be outside all day, as well as helping me remain comfortable due to their loose fits. For pants, I went with jeans, as they are my only long pants besides sweats and khakis, and are much more comfortable than khakis. To help keep my feet warm, I wore some thicker, Nike crew-style socks underneath my boots, as the ground was still a little muddy from the snow we have experienced the past few days. To complete the look and really make warmth a priority, I chose to wear my Wooster football jacket, which is easily the thickest jacket I own. With this jacket, I was able to stay warm, while also making sure people knew which team I was supporting. All-in-all, though not a pair of sweats and a hoodie, this outfit was plenty comfortable and served its purpose of keeping me warm throughout the day.
